| Highlights of Programme Activities in Rural Market Centres |

The Programme has entered into 33 Rural Market Centre. In all the RMCs, close collaboration is maintained with other UNDP Programmes so that the duplication of activities is avoided and better co-ordination established. The Programme continues to mobilise the COs formed by other UNDP Programmes for linkage enterprise development and other supports.
- The social capital formation at community level in 33 RMCs is almost completed. Programme has covered almost 100 percent households in TLOs in all RMC

- Altogether 359 TLOs have been organised. More than 13074 HH are members of these TLO with 46.30 % male and 53.70% female-headed HH member.

- The members organized into TLOs have regular savings and the amount deposited to date has reached
Rs. 13,067,781 of which, Rs. 12,556,818 has been given as credit to the members

TLO Savings versus Investment in the RMC |
- To date 984 people have been provided with Participatory Village Development Planning (PVDP) training (655 male and 329 female). Besides, leadership, micro-enterprise management, savings & credit, gender awareness and skill development training are also provided to the TLO members in all RMC.
- More than 214 different socio-economic development projects have been undertaken by the TLO with Programme support.
- The Programme is supporting more than 750 EE including 82 FA. To date credit disbursement in the RMC has reached Rs. 17,454,943 with equity participation of Rs. 15,777,662.10
- Rural Tele Centers have been established in RMCs for effective rural urban market linkages and strengthen two way communications.
